Yes, it’s here by very popular demand! Indigo 4 (both Lite and Pro) includes compatibility with the free iPhone App called Indigo Touch. You will be amazed at how seamlessly the App works with Indigo 4.
Are you at Starbucks the next morning and don’t remember if you turned off the lights at home before you left? No problem. Just click on Indigo Touch on your iPhone. It will connect and pull in your folders with the status of your lights or other devices as you wish.
Client/Server Design
Indigo 4 Pro is a client/server application to allow remote control and configuration from anywhere. The Indigo 4 Pro server can run headless (no UI) in the background on your Mac while consuming minimal CPU resources. The client can be run on the same machine or on another Mac on your home LAN. Take that iBook with the Indigo client installed anywhere in your house and still control your house - - - wirelessly.
NOTE: Indigo 4 Lite DOES NOT support remote client functionality.
Upload Capabilities
Indigo uses very little resources on your Mac and most Indigo users choose to leave Indigo running 24/7 on their Mac in the background so they have the maximum control of their home. However, Indigo can upload its basic logic and your schedules to the INSTEON PowerLinc 2414U or the INSTEON PowerLinc 1132CU computer interface, providing a solution for users that cannot leave their Mac running all of the time. The PowerLinc 2414U and the PowerLinc Controller 1132CU have built-in clocks and basic logic capabilities, and can even be used to turn lighting on or off at sunset and sunrise transitions based on your specific geographical location.
NOTE: The PowerLinc Controller 2414U can send and receive power line commands to BOTH INSTEON and X10 devices. The PowerLinc Controller 1132CU can only communicate with X10 power line devices.
Indigo’s Link and Scene Management Editor
Indigo’s new INSTEON link and scene management editor gives users the power to remotely define links and lighting scenes between the INSTEON modules they have installed in their home. Creating links or lighting scenes between keypads and multiple modules can now be done quickly and reliably from Indigo. Additionally, with Indigo's unique Persistent Link and two-way syncing features, users can automatically copy old link and scene information to a new replacement module with the press of a button.
Web Based Control Pages
This feature, first appearing in Indigo 2.0, continues to get rave reviews. In addition to having a built-in HTTP web server, Indigo now supports graphical Control Pages allowing quick and powerful creation of Web controllable home interfaces. These Control Pages update in real time as device and variable states change. You can make your own control page using the built in Indigo Graphical Control Page Editor. Check the following example.

NOTE: Although Indigo 4.1 Lite can be remotely accessed using the Indigo iPhone App, it DOES NOT support the Control Page functionality.

Other Functionality
Indigo 4.1 Pro includes SQLite and PostgreSQL integration, a Web server plug-in architecture, improved Web server performance, refinements to the user interface like the ability to organize your devices within folders to facilitate their management.
