X10 Control of Low Voltage Devices
How It Works
The X10 Universal Module receives the X10 House/Unit code that you have set via the two dials on the front of the module. This most likely will be a command you send from within Indigo. The X10 Universal Module then trips whatever device is connected to the dry contact (rated at up to 5A at 24 Volts DC).
Options
There are two slide switches on the face of the X10 Universal Module. One gives you the option for the unit to emit a notification beep when a command is sent to the module.
The other slide switch labeled "Momentary/Continuous" gives you these choices:
- Momentary
Causes the contacts to close for between 1.5 to 2.5 seconds when the X10 "ON" command is received.
- Continuous
Causes the contacts to close when the X10 "On" command is received and remain closed until the X10 "OFF" command is received.
