INSTEON enabled Input/Output Controller is now available!
The EZIO8T I/O Controller is capable of monitoring and controlling devices directly through its 3 inputs and 8 outputs. Its small size is ideal for placement next to the controlled devices thus eliminating a wiring issue that develops when using central panels.
As a stand-alone home automation interface, EZIO8T can be used for controlling any low AC voltage only loads such as outdoor lights, appliance relays, heating/air conditioning relays and alarm systems. On-board memory lets you download timers such that the outputs turn off unattended by corresponding INSTEON or X10 OFF commands.
If you need to control DC Loads, consider the EZIO2X4 or EZIO8SA.
(NOTE: Indigo 2.0.5 or greater, in tandem with the INSTEON PowerLinc V2 Controller 2414U is required to use the EZIO8T. Indigo 4 Lite does NOT support the EZIO8T.)
AND . . . ANOTHER NOTE:
Indigo must be running on your Mac for the EZIO8T to be controlled. You cannot upload your related triggers and schedules that involve the EZIO8T into the PowerLinc Controller 2414U and then turn off your Mac. See these helpful Indigo hardware compatibility tables.
