Knock. Knock. Who’s there?
The DS10A Wireless Door/Window Sensor will let you know if someone is trying to advance beyond the “knock, knock.”
Primary Features of the DS10A

- Delay can be set for up to 30 seconds after entering door or window before open command is transmitted and alarm sounds.

Indigo Integration
Note that the signals transmitted by the DS10A Wireless Door/Window Sensor are not normal X10 RF commands. They are “security” X10 RF Commands. The normal wall RF to X10 transceiver like the Mini Transceiver or the V572 RF Receiver ignore them because they cannot be put on the power line. However, a transceiver like the W800USB X10 RF Receiver will pick up the RF commands from the DS10A.
Although there is no user interface in Indigo to directly handle these special security RF commands, you will find some good example scripts on the Indigo site that you can use as models on how to interpret and react to the special security RF commands picked up by your transceiver. There are also numerous postings on the Indigo forum from Indigo users relating the various novel ways they use their DS10A Wireless Door/Window Sensors with Indigo.
NOTE:
Each DS10A Wireless Door/Window Sensor requires 2 AA Batteries (not included with the module). There is a very low power draw by the DS10A and so batteries may last as long as 2 years.
