Basic Info
KeypadLinc Countdown Timer automatically turns off its integrated dimmer as well as all other linked INSTEON devices after a preset amount of time. With up to 8 preset timer durations, you can turn your lights on for increments of 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, and 4 hours. Out of the box, KeypadLinc Countdown Timer has 7 timer buttons and an OFF button, so no matter who's using it, it's impossible to leave your lights on for longer than 2 hours! If you prefer more flexibility, the OFF button can easily be reconfigured as an ON/OFF or 4-hour timer button ("ON/OFF" and "4 hr" key caps included). KeypadLinc Countdown Timer is perfect for areas where lights normally only need to be left on for a short period of time, like the laundry room, garage, kitchen, mud room, bathrooms, closets, and anywhere else you can imagine.

By simply linking Countdown Timer to the lights or devices you want timed (which can be done in a couple of minutes), you can be sure they turn off after you leave. If you're leaving right away, use the 2 minute button; if you need some extra time to grab a few things and load the car, use the 10 minute button.
