At MacHomeStore.com, we are committed to providing you with a secure and private shopping experience. In order to process your order efficiently, or to send you information about your order, we do need to have certain information from you. The information may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, or credit card number and expiration date. However, MacHomeStore.com does not store any credit card information on its site and does not have access to your actual credit card numbers. We use Authorize.Net, one of the industry leaders in credit card verification. For amplification on their strictness in dealing with credit card information, you can read their Privacy Statement.
MacHomeStore.com does not share any of the information on your account with outside parties except for information needed to register software with software vendors and credit card verification information with Authorize.net. Software registration information is shared with software vendors so we can instantly provide registration/unlock codes for software (eg. Indigo) and to enable their development and support teams to contact you about bug fix updates or upgrades on software products. This information is only shared with software vendors of products you purchase. If you do not wish to be contacted by these software vendors, then please contact us after your transaction is complete. We will NOT rent, sell, trade, or otherwise provide customer mailing or e-mail addresses to other outside parties. MacHomeStore.com does reserve the right to disclose personally identifiable information in order to conform to the requirements of the law or to comply with governmental orders, court orders, or legal processes served on MacHomeStore.com.
To further safeguard your privacy, we use a secure server and software that encrypts all the information in the transaction once you place the order. When you click on "check out," our server will automatically transfer you into secure mode. Most browsers give an indication that you have a secure connection by showing a closed lock in the status bar at the bottom of the browser window. In all cases, the displayed URL will show https instead of http.
If you have any questions or feedback about our Privacy Policy, please contact us. |
